Two players from the Angry Dragons have been suspended for one game each. The official grounds for the suspension are that both Jim Ng and Tom Kalisz "struck another player with malicious intent - beyond the acceptable behaviour within a game". While the league understands the mitigating circumstances, it will never be acceptable in this league to strike another player in the manner in which this altercation occured.

So the site is finally up. What took so long you wonder? The site is now heavily based on XML content. Since we had little experience with XML it took a while to get things working right. And while everything looks great and works fairly good, there are still a few things that are a bit buggy. Like this sortable table that never worked right with the XML. And after the XML files have been updated some users will have to clear the cache on their web browser to see the new data.

The two major changes are the XML and and the design. The slick design was done by Mike Gavrovski. The changes using XML are largely for our own benefit. Changing every number on every page was tedious and stopped us from wanting to do anything more than was absolutely necessary. Now, all the stats from the games are entered in once. Then there are only three files to upload and the entire website is updated. There are a few more things planned and we'll let you know when they are done. But here is a list of some of the new features:

• Schedule - can be filtered dynamically between teams/volunteers, the upcoming weeks games are highlighted in blue as well as being posted at the base of every webpage.
• Stats - hovering over the name of a player will bring up their player card, clicking once will bring up the head shot.
• Sidebars - the standings and stats sidebars are located on every page and update automatically.
• Player Cards - these are not actually new, but we didn't have them for everyone last season. Check out last seasons stats pages for an example.
• Pages should now work in all browsers
• The Gallery will be in a new format once completed.
